A tool for democracy
FlashMAWB
Meet. Alarm. Witness. Blast.
A protest app that captures what happens - and makes sure it can't be erased.
Why this exists
Federal agents are killing people in American streets. The government lies about what happened.
Then bystander video proves them wrong. Every time.
The only thing that holds power accountable is evidence captured in real time, by real people, on their phones.
FlashMAWB exists to make that easier, faster, and harder to suppress.
Alex Pretti
37-year-old ICU nurse. Minneapolis. January 24, 2026.
Shot in the back while on the ground. He was holding his phone - not a weapon. The government said he "approached officers with a gun and attacked them." Multiple bystander videos proved that was a lie. He never brandished his gun. He never assaulted anyone.
A former NYPD lieutenant analyzed the video frame by frame and concluded Pretti was "in no way, shape, or form" presenting a threat when he was killed.
Then they tried to discredit him. They dug up video from 11 days earlier showing a scuffle with officers at a different protest. Donald Trump Jr. posted it on X: "Just a peaceful legal observer." The family's attorney - the same lawyer who prosecuted the George Floyd case - responded: "Nothing that happened a full week before could possibly have justified Alex's killing."
After that earlier scuffle, Pretti turned to the people around him and asked: "Are we all OK? Are we all safe?"
Renee Nicole Good
37-year-old U.S. citizen. Minneapolis. January 7, 2026.
Shot and killed by ICE officer Jonathan Ross while sitting in her vehicle. The Trump administration called her a "domestic terrorist" and claimed she "weaponized her car" and "attempted to run" over an officer. Bystander video showed her trying to pull away.
Silverio Villegas Gonzalez
38-year-old cook. Father of two. Chicago. September 12, 2025.
Shot and killed during a traffic stop. DHS claimed the agent was "seriously injured" after being dragged by the car. Footage obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times showed the agent telling a local officer his injuries were "nothing major."
Marimar Martinez
U.S. citizen. Chicago. October 4, 2025.
Shot five times by a Border Patrol agent. Survived seven gunshot wounds. Federal prosecutors accused her of ramming her vehicle into an agent. A judge dismissed the criminal charges. Her lawyer is now pushing for evidence to be released to show how DHS responds "when their agents use deadly force against U.S. citizens."
The pattern
The government shoots first and lies about it. Every single time, the official story says the victim was the aggressor. Every single time, bystander video tells a different story.
At least four people have been shot and killed by federal immigration agents since Trump's second term began. At least eight more have been wounded. People have been tackled, tased, hit with pepper balls, rubber bullets, tear gas, and mauled by attack dogs.
A federal judge in Minnesota wrote: "ICE is not a law unto itself."
The ACLU said: "We've never in this country had federal law enforcement agents routinely cover themselves up in masks and stand in front of cars."
A former CBP Commissioner called federal agents "untrained and unskilled for policing an urban environment."

This is why FlashMAWB exists.
Not because synced audio is cool. Not because the tech is impressive. Because a lens pointed at the truth is the last line of defense. And if your phone can capture it, upload it, and protect it before anyone can take it from you - that matters.
The blast brings people together. The camera keeps them alive.
The Toolkit
MAWB = Meet, Alarm, Witness, Blast. Every feature is live. Every feature works right now.
Instant Capture LIVE
One tap. Both cameras. Audio. Automatic upload. This is the feature that matters most. When something happens in front of you, you press one button and both cameras start recording. The video uploads immediately - before anyone can take your phone.
Bear Witness LIVE
Dead man's switch. Hold the button. If you let go - or if someone makes you let go - it silently captures 30 seconds of your last known location and auto-sends it. If they take your phone, the evidence is already gone.
Panic Button LIVE
Lights, sounds, video capture, instant upload. When things go wrong around you. One button and your phone becomes a witness, a siren, and an evidence locker.
Speaker Blast LIVE
Synced audio playlist across every phone. The curator records or queues audio, everyone blasts together. This is the hook - the feature that brings people into the app and into the crowd. One room, one wall of sound.
Freestyle Interview LIVE
A/B camera live interview, instant upload with transcript. Document stories as they happen.
Group Chat LIVE

Questions
What is this really?
A protest app. Capture video with both cameras simultaneously. Dead man's switch that sends evidence if your phone is taken. Synced audio blast across hundreds of phones. Group coordination with no accounts and no phone numbers. It's a toolkit built for people who show up when it matters.
Why does this exist?
Because federal agents are shooting people and lying about it, and the only thing that proves them wrong is bystander video. FlashMAWB makes it faster to capture, harder to suppress, and automatic to upload - before anyone can take your phone.
What is TestFlight?
TestFlight is Apple's official beta testing app. It's free, made by Apple, and on the App Store. FlashMAWB is still in development - you're getting early access. It's not a sketchy sideload - it goes through Apple's systems.
Do you collect my data?
No phone numbers. No accounts. No tracking. We don't want your data - we want you to have a tool that works when you need it.
Is the audio blast legal?
Playing audio from your personal phone speaker in a public space is legal. No sound permit is required for personal devices. You're not installing a PA system - you're playing audio on your phone, like everyone does every day.
Can someone hijack the audio?
No. The curator approves every piece of audio before it plays. Nothing reaches the crowd without review.
Who built this?
FlashMAWB is built by Throughline Technical Services in Portland, OR. It's a tool for democracy. That's not a slogan - it's the reason it exists.
